Rising Brisbane production duo YesYou announce supports for their debut headline tour this December, in support of their recently-released debut EP (out now via Bossy Music/MGM).

Melbourne duo Willow Beats make gorgeous downtempo beats overlaid with compelling vocals courtesy of Kalyani Ellis.  It's early days but standout tracks like 'From Under The Ground' - which has been given a good airing on community radio and triple j - mark them as ones to watch.  Grab their free EP here and catch them at The Toff on Thurs 6th Dec.

Adelaide's Es Ist Super have been aligning themselves with some pretty decent company since their recent formation.  The indie/electronic four piece got off to an exciting start, the buzz after only two live shows landed them support slots for Does It Offend You Yeah? (UK), Mitzi, Canyons, Van She and Neon Indian (USA).  Their summery stylings make them a perfect complement to YesYou.

YesYou will be joined in their hometown by Paces, whose sound palette comprises echoey pianos and harps, washy samples, tough bass, vocal snippets, and subtle drum programming - the perfect complement for YesYou.   Sitting somewhere between future-bass and trip-hop, Paces is lush break-up music that will appeal to fans of Portishead, SBTRKT, Mount Kimbie, The Postal Service, and Jamie XX.  His remixes - including this one for Frivolous Life (ft. Marcus Azon) - have been winning over DJs and blogs alike.

YesYou kick off the Frivolous Life Tour by performing at the triple j unearthed / ARIA week event, alongside The Rubens and Asta.  Full dates below.

"YesYou's 'Frivolous Life'; is a triumph for everyone involved, as Azon's sky-flying vocals take off into the night on the golden-tipped wings of YesYou's smoother-than-silk production. Together, they effortlessly surf the falsetto void, dancing a fine line between the shimmer and shake of Foster The People and the iridescent ooh-ooh's of Yeasayer. Carefree? Yes. Frivolous? Hardly." - Neon Gold

"This is dream pop at its synth-soaked best." - Indie Shuffle

“The pair were in no rush to fail with this release and took their time crafting the best possible first impression on the world.” - Music Feeds

"Yet another infectiously, catchy pop tune." - Last Gas Station
