Each year us music lovers come together, anxious to know who will be performing at these concerts, awaiting the announcements with held breath and butterflies in our stomach. While last year was huge with artists like Kiss and Motley Crue, this year certainly isn't disappointing either!
Over all three nights from the 27th of February to the 2nd of March, MusicSA kicks off the night with their choices of 'Bands On Track' Winners (to be announced soon). This is a fantastic opportunity for local Adelaide musicians to perform in front of a big crowd as well as share the stage with some fantastic national and international acts. It's been a huge success each year, and works as a great crowd warmer for the main acts, who are as follows...

With his seventh album, FUSE, Urban takes some bold strides, pursuing new sounds and new approaches that will surprise even his most devoted fans. This fearless experimentation is evident just from looking at the album's credits, which reveal a list of acclaimed producers and writers who are new collaborators for Urban, including such diverse hitmakers as Butch Walker, Mike Elizondo, Jay Joyce, and Stargate.
Keith Urban says that there's nothing that he would change on FUSE. He embarked on a musical journey with a clear vision of what he wanted to accomplish, and he delivers. “I set out to make a different -sounding record,” he says, “and in the process found myself in completely unfamiliar, and at times uncomfortable, territory. But it all worked because at the core of everything that we did over the past few years were this group of songs—and I’m so grateful for them.”
Urban has been honored with Grammy Awards, Country Music Association Awards, Academy of County Music Awards, a People’s Choice Award, American Music Award, and Australia’s coveted Aria Award. He was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2012, and for the last several years, he has spearheaded the "All for the Hall" benefit concerts, which have raised nearly $2 million for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Guy Sebastian is the only Australian male artist to have ever achieved six number one singles and two number one albums in chart history. Guy was born in Malaysia in 1981 and moved with his family to Melbourne, Australia at the age of 6. After turning 10 his family moved to Adelaide, which they were to call home for all of Guy’s teenage years. Guy’s interest in music started at a young age, taping his favorite songs from the age of four. It was at the age of 14 that Guy started singing.
2013 saw Guy‘s national Get Along Toursell out across all 47 show dates in all markets across Australia, running from March until the end of June. Guy has spent the majority of 2013 between Sydney and Los Angeles writing his 8thstudio album, with the highly anticipated release to occur in early 2014. December of this year will see Guy open for Taylor Swift on the Australian leg of her 2013 world tour, ‘TheRed Tour’, featuring 6 sold out stadium concerts across Australia’s major metropolitan cities.
Aside from his music, Guy enjoys a reputation as a person of the highest moral values and integrity. He is an official ambassador for The Red Cross and World Vision, and also supports the Royal Children’s Hospital, Sydney and The Royal Melbourne hospital.

There was no Boom Crash Opera break-up or farewell tour. The band remains a part of the members’ lives, even though they’ve all done other things (Maz is part of Mark Seymour’s band, The Undertow, and done time as a major label A&R man; Peter has composed music for theatre; Richard wrote and produced the SeaChange theme and produced several hit albums; Spock is a graphic designer, having done several album covers; while Dale has never stopped gigging).
The new songs – the hypnotic “I Am” and the alluring “You Can’t Stop The Sun” – show that Boom Crash Opera remain a viable, vibrant force.
This is a group that’s still doing its own thing. But they’re not afraid to list their influences, which give an insight into the band:
“XTC, The Reels, early Models, Carlton scene in the ’80s, Nick Launay, experimental ’80s hairdresser bands, anything English (except Level 42), the Rosebud Carnival massacre, the Australian pub rock scene, Steve Brown, Serious Young Insects, Bang, Govt Drums, The Church, early Hunters, and cheap beer at The Club in Collingwood.”
“We sounded like our name,” Peter Farnan notes, “and everybody knew that name.”
