On the heels of her 14th studio album and eighth top ten Billboard release, Unrepentant Geraldines, the tour will include a very special show at the Sydney Opera House, at which Tori will be accompanied by the 42-piece Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Following a recent trek through the UK, Europe, South Africa and a six week coast to coast US leg, Tori Amos will head to Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne theatres to perform superb solo shows - sharing the stage with her piano – after a five year absence since her November 2009 tour.

Audiences can expect hits, classics and fan favourites chosen from throughout Tori’s abundant repertoire, together with songs lifted from Unrepentant Geraldines.

Accompanied by Tori on piano throughout, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will perform a collection of “best of” songs – a tapestry of hits and favourites from her 13-album back-catalogue, as well as a stellar selection of solo songs from Unrepentant Geraldines.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10am, Friday July 18.

My Live Nation members can be amongst the first to purchase tickets during the exclusive pre-sale beginning 1pm, Monday July 14. For complete details visit: www.livenation.com.au

Since the release of her 1992 debut album, Little Earthquakes, Tori Amos has sold more than 12 million albums worldwide, played more than a thousand shows and won numerous accolades throughout her acclaimed 22-year career.

“The tiny American singer-songwriter still looked and sounded like she did 20 years ago; the voice still swooping and growling with a tremendous dexterity, the piano still her confidante, her lover and occasionally (judging by the hefty whacks she gave it last night) her enemy.”    The Telegraph (UK)

“It takes seeing her in concert to truly appreciate how her voice, her words, her piano playing and her personality fuse together to create a unique performance.”    Nottingham Post

“Amos’s voice and playing are startling, rich in tone and intensity…”    The Irish Times

“Tori remains a truly captivating performer, with that banshee voice tantalizing every inch of the Apollo as she flips those titian curls with lusty abandon...”    Manchester Evening News

Tori Amos’ latest studio offering, Unrepentant Geraldines (out now through Universal Music Australia), is a 14-track release marking a return to her renowned personal, evocative and inspirational music: another leap forward for one of the world’s most successful and influential female singer-songwriters.

Featuring singles Trouble’s Lament and Promise, the album debuted at #7 in the US, marking the eighth time Tori Amos has charted in the Billboard Top Ten.
